WINGSTOP

I've came across many chicken wing chain in Singapore and this is probably one which capture my attention.

Introducing Wingstop which located at  Bedok Mall and City Square Mall. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Texas, the restaurant chain Wingstop has more than 600 outlets across the United States and Mexico, WINGSTOP had landed in Singapore what u waiting for ? 

WINGSTOP chicken wing comes in many Flavours and most importantly it is halal certified so for the Muslim people can too enjoy the savoury wings at ease. 

 

At Wingstop, there are 11 favours to choose from. The first ten comes from the States: Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic spiciness level 5, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian, Garlic Parmesan, Hickory Smoked BBQ and Louisiana Rub.  Last but not least, the Oriental Soy Pepper. One of my favourite Kecap Manis is specially made for this Ramadan.

Check out WINGSTOP's homemade potato salad, coleslaw. And here's the ranch sauce and honey mustard sauce for the fries dip. Had this sides while waiting for our mains.

*Choices for the wings- Classic Wings or Boneless Wings sets ($9.96 for 6 pieces, $11.95 for 8 pieces) where you can mix 2 flavours with 1 regular side dish (go for the signature seasoned fries), drink and dip.

Who am I

   

                 About Me ?

People who came across my Instagram and Facebook would have know I'm a hair stylist. I started off as a shampoo boy at the age of 14. My family used to own HAIR CULTURE and that's where I started doing haircut and stuff. Have anyone heard of Hair Culture ? It's been 26 year under my family belt, whenever it's my school holiday, the first things on my to-do list was to have a new haircut, color or highlight!  

This photo was taken when I'm 15 or 16 :) don't laugh at me! :(  I was told by many that this image looked too Beng which mean (gangster) hahah !  I still remember what my dad told me before I made the decision to carry on this line, to be a hair stylist just like them and he said " Son, if u wanna learn hair skills, don't worry dad and aunty can teach u but u must be better than anyone of us one day otherwise forget about learning it"  Hahaha, the first thing I replied to him was " how many years do I need to be like u? Two years? Three years? " haha I'm sounded so naive and my dad said " it depend how fast you can adapt and how passionate u are". 

I told my dad one day I will be an award winning stylist or famous stylist in future and do him proud ! 

Two years of intense training, started off as a stylist assistant who only knows some chemical work and wash & blow as my dad restricted me from doing any haircuts. He wanted me to pick up the skills one step at a time. Of course, right at the back of my mind, I'm too anxious to learn everything. 

  This is the test sheet which was given to me when I was having hair assistant practical test ;) nothing comes easy without hardwork. I been through lots of mistake and gave never gave up instead I learn from it. In this journey, I'm so grateful that I've given the opportunity to meet great bosses and international master trainer and top academy principle who is willing to groom me. 

Time has passed. Counting the years, I've been in the hair industry about a decade already thou I'm only 25. Haha! 

There's a long way to go and I will continue to pursue my passion. Bringing the best of me to bring out the best in everybody's hair too!

*The Modern Rapunzel

Having long tresses has always been a trend. Koreans are interesting people. They took the lead and a twist from a convenient hair trend into what favoured by many- the Korean hairstyle. The secret ingredient is, yet again, an impeccable cut. Korean hairstylist does not or seldom do layering for their customers – all the charm resides in the texture of the hair. 

Wavy or pin-straight, with or without bangs, the modern Rapunzel’s hair is always in perfect condition. This is why special attention must be payed not only to the cut. 

So........

I did an ampoule treatment for Linda the day before the shoot to ensure her hair is in good condition when I start styling for her. It also helps to strengthen her hair from any harsh chemicals or heat from the thong during the prep. 

I came out with an Asian inspired Rapunzel look - vintage with a pinch of class for my shoot.

After finishing up the two wonderful   shoots, I've added in an additional shoot with a different hair updo this time that further enhance the classiness and added more touch to the vintage feel that I'm looking forward to share with you guys!

Nothing's comes easy without hardwork, mistakes make me grow and I don't know what will happen in future but  I know I have a goal, I will fight for it even if I fail at least I tried :)

I can't expressed how much I love crabs.  The idea of having nice big crabs and prawn and baby potatoes cooked and served in a plastic bag full of delicious rich sauce is one which appeals to me.

We ordered Sri Lanka crab + Tiger prawn + baby potatoes with their signature sauce. 

It's pretty obvious I'm very excited.

Quite an affordable price for that portion that was served to us.

After getting our movies tickets, we still have an hour before our show. We plan to find a place to settle down for our dinner and we found this place call Penang Culture , came across word "Penang " ‘delicious street food’ and ‘culinary mecca’ instantly comes to mind. So we decided to give it a try :)

With the various selection of delicious Penang street food I finally chosen something, premium Crab Meat & Salted Eggs Fried Kway Teow . yum yum ! 

  

Looked as if nothing much special compared to those normal Fried Kway Teow out there. This plate proves me wrong, the taste was awesome, my girl loved the wok hei taste, the sweetness and saltness come from the crabmeat and salted eggs blends really well ! Whoo

              HER SELECTION 

I was wondering what makes her choose this dish. Where you can easily get it anywhere else.

The aroma of fried prawn heads and shells that went into the soup was just so right. Took a spoonful of the soup, it was indeed a bowl of goodness. Of course, not forgetting the chilli used for the noodles. 

    

      SEAFOOD TOM YUM SOUP

So we decide to have Tom Yum Soup as well , guess what " the taste is totally the same as the Authentic Thai tom yum I had back in the Bkk holidays. I was impressed, impressed that I'm actually getting the right taste from this Penang culture instead of any Thai restaurant. I enjoyed my dinner at a relaxing  environment with a great value for their food. I would definitely be back to try their other dishes!

My first experience stepping in and give it a shot. Considering myself one of the Japanese food lover, that's why I'm here :) Arriving time at 7.30pm and it seems really crowded. Btw, if u r a beer drinking there are free flow of sapporo beers from 6.30 to 7.30pm

! Chawamushi, Sashimi, fried and lastly King Crab legs!!! Haha, feeling so happy :) Though it's free flow but not to forget there are plenty of other delicacy waiting to be devoured! I have to control not to stuff myself up yet haha..

There are many different of Hot Pot! Wooo... It is always nice to have something hot for dinner and this girl is cooking sashimi prawns instead of eating it raw haha but either way taste nice too :)
